Visited Amavida for the first time with my mother-in-law in April and spent a lot of time with her this past month during her move-in and once she was settled as a resident, and all I can say is wow! I want to move in myself … what a nice way to live. The meals are first class, truly the highlight of each of my stays. As far as dining goes, I love that there are options – there is the elegant formal restaurant for special evenings or just nights you want to spoil yourself, then there is the casual indoor / outdoor dining at the lakeside grill, which is more relaxed but just as tasty. I can keep going on that … The activities are numerous, and I am told very fun, and the residents welcoming. Couldn’t ask for more at this point!

We are so happy we found Amavida! The very next day to being made aware of Amavida we were going to buy into another upscale retirement community. We came here and saw exactly what we wanted. We liked that we could rent and did not have to buy. Also, if we didn’t like it we could move without penalty. The tour was amazing, everything we could want in independent living was here and if we needed more that was here also though separate. We are active at ages 86 and 90 so there are classes almost every day and some days more than one that help us physically, mentally, and emotionally. There is a state of the art Exercise Room, a Hair and Nail Salon, An Art Studio, and Game Rooms for cards, billiards, etc. There is so much to do and enjoy that I have only scratched the surface. There is casual dining and formal. The food is very good, not commercial in any way. I had a pot roast with mashed potatoes, and baby herbed carrots a couple nights ago that was the best I had ever eaten. The apartments are very nice, as my husband likes to say our apartment is cozy. It’s plenty big enough for two people who like their own space. If you have any thoughts about moving into a retirement home please do yourself a favor and visit Amavida. We have been here almost 2 years and we couldn’t be happier. The staff are all like family, they make you feel at home from the moment you call Amavida home.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Amavida. Before I moved in they were always available to answer any of my questions and they worked with me to help me get ready for my move in to my new home. I’m delighted with the friendly and concerned staff. They are bending over backward to make my stay here a pleasant experience. The food is wonderful. It ranges from a fine dining experience to good ole comfort food. There are endless activities for the residents and we are basically a group of happy people. I’ve made many new friends and plan to stay here for the rest of my life. The surroundings are peaceful and lovely and I’m very glad I made the decision to come here.

Toured Amavida today to see the entire spectrum of living choices, and it’s amazing! The residents were engaged and happy, the rooms and views from the rooms were great. The ambiance throughout was superb! Thank you so much!

Amavida is a beautiful community! The team is supportive and truly cares for each other and the residents. We have great amenities and caring staff … what more could you ask for!

Amavida truly represents resort style living at its finest. The community is beautiful, well maintained and the staff are welcoming and helpful. I love that there’s a park in walking distance too. It certainly has got to be among the best retirement communities in SWFL. I highly recommend checking out Amavida if you’re looking yourself or a family member.

Amavida is a beautiful property! They have an amazing team and the residents are great to be around too. Amavida has the best amenities, food, and social calendar.

I moved both my parents into Amavida earlier this year, wished I had done it sooner. The facility is amazing. When they say it is “resort-style” living they mean it! My parents love the good food and I am happy that there are so many activities available to keep them busy.

Amavida was the perfect choice for my parents. The Vistas (Assisted Living) and The Meadows (Memory Care) neighborhoods, both have the best care team, very active community calendars, wonderful amenities, but best of all the care team has a HUGE HEART. They give my parents the individualized care they need and my parents are very happy. This alone is priceless. I could not have made a better decision. Having my parents being well cared for gives me piece of mind knowing that they are in great hands.

I visited my father-in-law at Amavida Living the other day for lunch – that’s not senior living, that’s a resort!! What a beautiful campus, great location, and lots of smiling faces all around! The butterfly garden is also a wonderful feature. What a unique and special place.

Amavida is beautiful. It looks more like a resort than an assisted living facility. The staff is wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised. I have been to other assisted living facilities and it doesn’t even compare. If I were able to give it more than five stars I would.

My parents are thrilled with Amavida. We join them for dinner a lot and it’s wonderful! The staff is so sweet and welcoming. Lakeside restaurant and bar is beautiful! Arts and crafts are fun too! They have a themed party for all the holidays and many other fun activities! Can’t say enough good things about it. I feel my parents are well taken care of and most of all they are happy!

Toured the facilities with my parents, lovely grounds and interiors throughout. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had lunch at the restaurant facing the pond, prices were very affordable and the quality of the food and service was excellent.

Wonderful events today (December 15th) as Amavida residents “gifted” its hourly workers with a Christmas thank-you check which included a bonus for those workers who have been with us for one year. We are blessed to have all of these workers who keep us safe, healthy and happy! My husband and I have begun our third year of residence in an independent living apartment … an apartment that is configured well to house our baby grand Kanabe! We enjoy the Oasis swimming pool, access to Lakes Park for bike riding and its Farmer’s Marker. and the various activities provided by the Lifestyles staff! Amavida is a small, rental community with a variety of living spaces available for independent to memory care folks. It’s a welcoming environment with delightful staff.

Proximity to beaches, cultural resources, international airport, golf courses, and gulf fishing make Amavida Living’s location the reason people love to live in Florida. It’s also a great place for resident’s grandchildren to come visit and enjoy the community amenities. Plus beautiful Lake’s Park is our next door neighbor!

Amavida is the best!! We love our apartment. The location is so convenient right next to Lakes Park, medical facilities and shopping. The employees are always eager to assist–in the dinning room, housekeeping, lifestyle activities and providing transportation to doctor appointments etc. If you need anything, just call the concierge!!

It’s such a beautiful place to work. The team is so friendly, helpful, and always finding new way to pamper our residents. Nursing Week was amazing. We received beautiful pot of flowers from the Directors. Wish I could post the picture. It’s really nice to have a president there to talk about with any concerns, know he deeply cares, & will get results fast. I have found the place I’ve been looking for for years. I am home.

Love living at Amavida, a true resort style complex. The residents are friendly and staff accommodating. It is a brand-new facility so working out a few kinks but staff has been responsive. A lot of new hires as they continually strive to find and hire the best employees to serve our residents. It is filling up fast with enthusiastic new residents. UPDATE: Celebrated two years enjoying living at Amavida. At 75 people think I am young for Senior living but I wanted to be able to fully enjoy the resort living without responsibilities. So glad I did. I lead a busy, active life and enjoy the community spirit. I also enjoy our own entrance to Lakes Park. Why wait when you could be living the good life at Amavida.

Amavida is resort style living at its best! The amenities are great and include tennis, bocce, pickle ball and 3 pools. I am thoroughly enjoying the delicious food as well as the friendly and gracious staff. So happy to be calling Amavida my home!

Amavida is a one of a kind senior living environment. From the amenities offered, to numerous dining options, and the vast amount of lifestyle events there is never a dull moment. I just visited my parents at their place at Amavida, it looks like a Mediterranean resort, we had a great lunch out by the lake at the Lakeside Grille and then took a nice walk at Lakes Park. What an awesome place!

Beautiful property, great staff. Perfect place to retire to and enjoy the local beaches and great shopping all within 5 miles.
