Our Landscape Technician, Terry came across some bushes on our property with a Mealybug infestation. After brainstorming and researching on an environmentally friendly approach to remedy this concern, it was decided that the most natural approach would require the help of Ladybugs. Ladybugs are a predator of mealybugs and can reduce the need for chemical insecticides. Ladybugs are often seen as a symbol of good luck and can also be a valuable part of an integrated pest management treatment for plants and gardens. Taking an alternative approach to chemicals was our goal, and Amavida delivered.
